Tourism Intelligence Club (TIC):
Tourism
Intelligence Club (TIC) is a student driven club, created in the month of
September, 2013 at DTTM, CUJ. The purpose of TIC is to advance the understanding of
tourism concepts by an integration and convergence of the tourism theory and its
implications. It aims to empower learners through information, education,
simulation exercises.
About the event-‘Planning Spectrum’:
The event is about how the students
will bring out a master plan of a TOURISM
PRODUCT. The Planning must involve out of the box strategies and the
product should be innovative, feasible and sustainable by all the means.
Planning Spectrum THEME STATES are following:
(1) Andhra
Pradesh, (2) Arunachal Pradesh, (3) Assam, (4) Bihar, (5) Chhattisgarh, (6) Gujarat,
(7) Chandigarh, (8) Himachal Pradesh, (9) Jammu & Kashmir, (10) Jharkhand, (11)
Karnataka, (12) Kerala, (13) Madhya Pradesh, (14) Maharashtra, (15) Orissa, (16)
Punjab, (17) Rajasthan, (18) Tamilnadu, (19)
Uttrakhand, (20) Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Instructions:
Ø The evaluation criterion is based on innovativeness,
feasibility and sustainability of the chosen tourism theme/product from above
mentioned states.
Ø Each student will be allotted 20 minutes to present their
idea on stage.
Ø Presentation should be in the form of MS Power Point.
Ø Each student should submit a copy of the presentation and a
write up of 5000 words as a Mini Project
at the time of presentation.
